From Bose to Bras: The Teysha Story

We're on a mission to make growing up a little bit easier, softer, and more confident.

Picture this: A 12-year-old girl stands at the top of the stairs.

"MUM, I NEED A STRAPLESS BRA!"

Her mom, Chantelle (that's me!), thinks: No problem. We'll just pop to the shops.

SPOILER: Big problem.

Everything was too grown-up, too uncomfortable, or too... weird. Nothing felt right for a girl who was growing up but still just wanted to be a kid.

So Alysha looked at me and said: "Can't you just make me one?"

Bestie—I can't even sew on a button.

BUT.

I used to run the Bose store in Perth. I know how to build a brand. I know quality. And I know when something doesn't exist, you have to create it.

SO THAT'S WHAT WE DID.

I found THE MOST talented designer (Marissa Ganino—she literally designed lingerie for Elle Macpherson). Together with my daughters Alysha and Teyana (our very honest focus group), we spent two years creating what we wished existed:

  • 🌸Bras and undies that are cute (not childish)
  • 🌸Organic cotton so soft it feels like a cloud
  • 🌸Sizes that make sense for growing bodies
  • 🌸Styles that make you feel confident, not awkward

Every single piece is designed with input from real girls. Because the best way to make underwear for teens? Ask them what they actually want.

P.S. Teysha is named using letters from my daughters' names. It's literally made from our family to yours.
